Comprehensive Eye Care
Comprehensive Eye Examinations in Surrey Hills
An eye examination should do more than check whether you need new glasses.
It should help you understand your vision, identify possible changes in your eye health and make informed decisions about your care.
At In2Eyes, a routine eye examination takes approximately 45 minutes. This gives our optometrists time to carefully assess your eyes, listen to your concerns and clearly explain the results and recommended next steps.
During your appointment, we will also discuss your health history. Please share any relevant information, even if it does not appear directly connected to your eyes.

What to Expect During Your Eye Examination
There are no right or wrong answers during an eye examination.
Your optometrist will guide you through each test and explain what is happening throughout your appointment.
The tests are designed to compare different lenses, images and visual responses. Your honest answers help us understand what feels clearest and most comfortable for you.
Eye Health Technology
Advanced Retinal Imaging
Some eye health changes can develop without immediately affecting your vision.
When recommended, In2Eyes may use advanced retinal imaging to examine and document the back of your eyes in greater detail.
Our technology includes:
Digital Retinal Photography
Optomap Ultra-Wide Digital Retinal Imaging
These technologies create detailed images of the retina, its blood supply and the optic nerve.
The Optomap system captures a 200-degree ultra-widefield view of the retina in a fraction of a second.
The scan is quick and patient-friendly. Because the image is captured quickly, your optometrist can spend more time reviewing the results, explaining the findings and answering your questions.

Children’s Vision
Children’s Eye Tests
Clear and comfortable vision plays an important role in a child’s learning, reading, coordination, sport and everyday development.
However, children may not realise that their vision has changed or know how to explain what they are experiencing.
In2Eyes provides approachable children’s eye examinations at our Surrey Hills practice.
During the appointment, our optometrists assess your child’s vision and eye health, clearly explain the results and recommend the appropriate next step when support is needed.
